Power Washing
Power washing is one of the most effective ways to revive your home’s appearance. Power washing removes build ups of contaminants like dirt, mold, mildew, algae, and pollen. All of which are unsanitary and unsightly. Clear them away to reveal your home’s true beauty. Power washing is also an essential first step when preparing surfaces for all new painting or staining jobs.
You may hear the terms power washing, pressure washing, or soft washing used interchangeably, however, they each have slight technical differences and uses. We use the general term Power Washing for reference, but utilize a combination of all three approaches where best applicable.
- “Power” refers to the temperature of the water being hot.
- “Pressure” refers to the high pressure being used.
- “Soft” refers to low pressure being used.
We seldom use hot water as it is not necessary for normal house cleaning. Most of our washing would fall under a soft wash utilizing higher pressure as needed. High pressure can easily damage delicate surfaces. We found a much safer and more effective approach is to let our cleaning solution do the hard work of loosening up the unwanted grime so that only a soft rinse is needed to wipe the surface clean.
